Help Micro SD card problems

hi ppl,am using htc wildifire since 1.5 year.
Just Couple of days before i wanted a movie(HD-MP4 file 640 MB) from a friend's laptop, as i dint had a pen drive, i copied it in my memory card.

i CASUALLY opened gallery and i just clicked on the folder of the movie, somthing happened n since then my phone is not reading any memory card.
(that CARD WORKING fine IN PC)

ERROR IS "REMOVED SD CARD, INSERT A NEW ONE"

plz plz help (PHONE NOT IN WARRANTY)

Have you tried to remove that video then try again?
HD video shouldnt work on the Wildfire due to the low resolution of the device, and because its such a big file, your devices will pool more resources into running it, which might have caused the sd card problem.

After removing the video file, remove your sd card safely, then turn of your device and remove the battery, after a few mins replace the sd card first then battery and so on then turn on your device

When the phone rejected my SD CARD, i took it off & deleted the Movie from the card using my laptop, then i re inserted it into the phone but again the same error "REMOVED SD CARD, INSERT A NEW ONE".

I also tried NEW 4GB CARD (earlier was 2GB), but the phone is not accepting any card.
Even tried a formatted SD CARD, but
I also tried RESTORING FACTORY DEFAULT, but didn't work as well.

PLZ SUGGEST SOMETHING & GET ME OUTTA THIS

Hi, I have a HTC wildfire s, have had it since about august.
I have been using an 8gb memory card in it, but recently purchaced a 32gb as wanted more memory for apps etc. I copied everything from the 8gb to the 32gb and then put the new card into my phone. However that wasn't working so I decided to format the card qnd ager from scratch. That all worked fine. But when I go to move apps from my phone to the SD card it won't allow me... The move to SD card button is grey and can't click on it.
The phone is recognisig the card okay and sqys it is empty and has over 30gb of space available and the card works fine in my computer, so it is a bit frustrating that it won't let me transfer apps. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I've tried taking SD card and battery out, leaving for a few mins and reinserting everything with no luck
