Help Micro SD, no format option.

My Samsung GS 3 does not properly recognize my new 64GB micro SD. I do not have an option to "format". My only option is to "Mount SD card". When pressed it says "preparing SD card" followed by "SD card safe to remove".

This seems to be a common problem on android threads yet I cannot find a common solution. Can you help me?

your computer will format a 64 gig card to fat 32 for you. thats how its done. hope this helps you. welcome to the forum
