micro USB on top?

It seems the micro USB plug is on the top of the phone. Won't this cause things to get in the way? How will a dock work with the phone upside down?

I think I would have to get a new car mount for this phone if I got it with the plug on top like that.

It does seem like an odd location. I don't imagine there will be many (if any) docks made for the phone due to this.

Perhaps. Unfortunately as Snootchy Boochy pointed out (http://androidforums.com/samsung-epic-4g/120509-samsung-epic-4g-docking-station.html) the phones might have a slightly offset port which would make mass production of docks more costly.

Mass production for the EPIC in consideration of the other models wouldn't work, The EPIC's slider makes it wider.
A case with a kickstand would be better anyhow.
