Help Microphone Issues?

Im having trouble with my microphones and was wondering if anyone else had the same issues?

Pretty much no one can hear me if i call them, If i set it to speaker they can hear me fine (via top mic) but when i try to talk normally, stil the same muted mic.

i cant find any settings for this and i have tried rebooting the device. anyone know what may be causing this or maybe i got a defective X?

Same thing with mine...person on other end says I sound drunk...

well mine was that my mic was muted, no one could say i was sounding drunk cuz they couldnt hear anything haha. But i fixed my problem with a simple factory reset.
