Root Microphone On Swype

The last few ROM's I've flashed on my captivate all had a microphone on the swype keyboard. The other day I cooked a ROM on the ROM Kitchen with swype of coarse, however I have no microphone on my swype. Sometimes it's easier to just speak my text and is pretty damn accurate i might add. where can I get the Swype with the microphone like I had before. ROM kitchen has 5 versions of swype and none has the microphone.
Before anyone says go back to my previous ROM, I prefer to keep the one I have. Everything works, Bluetooth voice dial, bluetooth file transfer, Modem is flawless, so I prefer to keep my cooked ROM. Anyone have any idea's?

What version of Swype are you currently running? 2.10 and 2.15 on my phones have speech-to-text.

Don't ask where to get it though, or some moderator is going to close this thread on you. :(
 
Speech to text only really works if you speak REALLY slowly and have a Northern accent.

My Southern 'draw' often makes errors

haha my dad is from northern Louisiana and I showed him swype and it figured out what he was saying just fine.

Maybe it isn't the accent - you do have to be clear, but I haven't noticed too much of an issue with speed as long as you aren't merging words together (again, clear)
