Help Microphone Volume Control?

Is there a way to adjust the microphone volume on the Commando? I'm in a work van most of the day which is too loud for any voice recongnition. If I could turn down the mic so it wouldn't pick up the back ground noise, that would be great.

This headset is an over the head style with a boom mike. I use it when I'm driving or operating my wrecker, it works very well in noisy environments. The Vlingo app and even the Nuance voice recognition seem to work well with this headset. VXi BlueParrott B250-XT
