Honestly most devices don't fully use a class 10's speed even if they say they do. You usually only get to see any real difference in speed when its hooked up to your computer. I would just go for a class 4 or 6. Price varies heavily depending on brand, but on average at newegg.com a 16gb of any class varies between $10 and $20 with free shipping.
My understanding is the only things that will really utilize a class 6+ SD card is shooting Video in HD 1080p and taking extremely high resolution photos rapidly in Raw format. As far as if you go to play back a movie a Class 4 should more then handle your needs and want's.
I have a Class 4 (32gig) and a Class 10 (64gig) and there is no noticeable difference in speed unless I am transferring files.
Class 10 SandDisk with SD adapter was $24 shipped from Amazon the other day. I grabbed one, should be in Monday or Tuesday. I figured I might put that card in a camera with the adapter. Waiting on a Canon to arrive as well....
