Root Midnight ROM Headphone issue.

I hope this isn't me and I hope it's just the rom, not my phone. But when I plug in my headphones into my phone they work, but if I touch the connection rubber thing it skips to the next song or make a random phone call. It's aggravating while in class and all of a sudden it goes into a call..

Is it a ROM issue or my phone? Thanks

Sounds like an issue with the headphone jack, if you're talking about the rubber bit where the cord meets the plug. Bad connection there, I'd imagine. If they're headset phones with a button and mic, I'd say that's the issue.
