MIDX5A cant select widgets

I have a MIDX5A (2.1) and I cant select any widgets. I have downloaded a few widgets but they dont show up in the widgets menu on the home screen. The only thing listed is Google Search, which is already added.

Any ideas?

Have the same problem here with it. Have installed several widgets and none of them appear in the list. No idea where to go from here.
