mifi wireless access

I have a mifi (wirelss dongle) from 3 Ireland

I assumed my Desire would be able to access the web through it.

if I go into "wireless settings" It shows the SSID for a few seconds as "remembered, secured by wpa/wpa2 psk"

but then the status falls back to "not in range, remembered"

when it appears, if I click on connect (I can see the signal strength is excellent) but it just disapears again.

There's no problem with the mifi itself - my notebook can connect no problem.

Cant help other than that you assume correctly. It should connect. Mine works with no issues.
Sorry I cant help further.
Have you tried advanced wifi settings? Go wifi, then select the menu button to get to advanced wifi settings? Maybe a clue from there?
