might go back to iphone...

I am only getting 14 hours max and 7 of those hours while I am asleep, and the rest of the time is very light use, I am going to try a system reboot to see if that helps.

Ok quick question... I did not install any additional Task Killer but I use Go Launcher EX and when you open up the apps folder it has what I guess you can say like an built in Task Killer you can use... is this killing my battery?

As far as I know there is no way to uninstall this...

Start small, get a baseline. Even the push stuff like weather and stuff shouldn't hurt..... but start small, and test apps day by day.

Remove the ATK crap. Go one by one. Same on this system compared to the iphone. Plenty of google searches there!

Agreed. People tend to go into an app-o-rama in the first hour, don't break their battery in, etc.

Android over other phone OS's can easily be worse because of the services/apps/widgets/etc. You really have to think about installing things with reckless abandon :D

I kill backgrounding apps every 15 minutes.

I found your problem.

Don't kill the background apps. Android knows how to manage its memory and power, apps don't take much if they're in the background, you end up using up more power if you kill them then if you just let them run.

Would it hurt to use apps like "juice defender"?

Here's a thought: just use the phone _bone_stock_ for a few days. Go to full charge, let it deplete completely. Mess around with Blur, get your email all configured, etc.

:)
