Might return the my EVO for the Iphone 4.

Guys I'm getting tired of trying to get good battery, buy doing this and that, adjust this and that, and still getting bad battery, I've tried everything the best I get is 6 hours of battery, that's if I'm lucky. I guess if battery is your need, you must get the iPhone 4.
I really like my evo, but I'm getting just tired of all this adjusting and tricks, to get better battery.

What you guys think ?
 
Battery is all you want? How many more hours should the iphone have for you to jump ship already? Evo is the better phone, better cam and better look. Just the fact that you are considering an iphone tells me you're most likely getting it already. Plus, why are you assuming the iphone already has a drastically better battery life?
 
First of all just because it has a 8mp camera doesn't means is better than 5mp that has more photons, that makes photos better in low light, I've tried the MY EVO and it sucks in low light. The EVO doesn't have better look, the EVO is just a phone with a huge screen. The iPhone 4 is a beauty peace of art. I believe battery will be awesome, because I had the 3GS and I could go the whole day with out charging it. And that's watching video podcast all the time. And apple products have great battery, laptops, iPad and cellphones. I have charged my EVO 3 times today already. And every company backs the iPhone by making accessories that go hand to hand with the phone, I never see that product Support by a company toward any other phone. And the evo won't be the exception.

iPhone 4 still has two major flaws: ATT & no Kickstand

Seems to me like you didn't need this post at all.... you just want to rub in your Iphone propaganda. You know its inevitable that you will get the new iphone, especially given the fact that were a former iphone user already. So why do you need our thoughts? We all own Evos for a reason, we love the phone, if not we would get rid of it (like you are considering now). Please just stop wasting your time and ours and stop posting and go to apple forums and hail and praise jobs' "piece of art".
 
Kickstand ? Is that the reason you got it, like I said, company back up apple products, there are bunches of cases with kickstands integrated.
AT&T sucks, yeah, but where I live so does sprint. And there's no 4g, and I really don't want it, cause battery would be even worse. I would have to carrying around with a portable power plant. Lol.

Nah, all joked behind, I wanna like my EVO, I love the big screen and yes the KIckstand too,lol.

Let me get this straight...you got the Evo even though you have bad coverage with Sprint and you hate not having 4G. Not to mention your obvious obsession with battery life and the new Iphone. Leaked Iphone pics have been out for a while as well.

Sorry, but I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I'm just giving my opinion. I has the iPhone, nut I got tired of the user interface. So I got the EVO, cause it's a spec beast. That can't be denied. I haven't decided nothing yet. The will only have battery life over the EVO, that's it. The evo still is a powerhorse.

Iphone 4 will have the same OS...you do realize that right? Then is battery life really all its about?

Ha, where I live Sprint has basically the same service experience as AT&T, so I said , the he'll with it, Im used to having he service experience , I can deal with Sprint as well. Sprint or AT&T is not an issue with me.
 
Kids fighting damn ok you hate your Evo go to Iphone "Who Cares" yes Evo have Bad Battery...."Who Cares"...i never liked the ISuck....stupid boring basic OS they have....Evo sucks cause of the bad battery:D i still dont care i tweaked my phone to the point i get 15 hrs and STILL can watch my Movies.....but yet! "Who Cares" Thats YOU! dont like the Evo? go to a Iphone forum and complain there....this is a "Android" Forum the name says it all....Were on here cause we LOVE our Android :D

Stop lying to yourself, you don't get 15 hours of battery life. What you did, replaced every component in the phone? Lol!
Dude I've done a lot of tweaks, and battery have got better, but you can never get that battery life if your watching movies and everything you claim. Joker.

I'm not sure what you are doing with your phone, but I left for work at 10:00am this morning and at the time I am posting this (1:30am) my battery is at exactly 50%. I have been sending texts all day, and 2 picture messages along with reading webpages and browsing apps. If I set my screen to fullbright in the direct sunlight (bright as hell today in California btw) I can see everything just fine. If you are lazy you can set it to autobright so that when it is bright outside the screen automatically gets brighter.

iPhone is a work of art? Thats not something a geek would look for in a smart phone, that is something an average guy who is into "gadgets" looks for. Andoird phones have a lot more options and you have to figure things out on your own, where as apple phones are meant more for the general public. Everyone I talk to who has had an android device and did not like it had a their screen filled with useless widgets and tons of rediculous apps running at once, along with every piece of hardware turned on even though it was not in use. They should have gotten an iphone to protect them from their own stupidity.

That's because it has been on standby, all the time, so you can take that picture, lol! Even I can do that, with the battery life I have. You where not watching movies, etc...

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. All I do is turn off GPS and turn on Wifi when I'm at home, then turn on GPS and turn of Wifi when I leave, turn the screen to autobrightness, keep 4G off (no coverage where I am anyway), and even with me obsessively using the phone all day it lasts all day. Now I don't sit and watch movies on it or anything but a general days use hasn't been a problem for me. It really strange to me how much this is varying for people.
