Root Migrate Nand Backups

Is there a way to successfully move Nands between two D3's? When I do it, I simply get my apps moved over. No home screens or whatnot.
 
tried just switiching the SD cards and not moving them, boot from sd in both phones and then back up on another card?
 
I've since got it all figured out data migration, but without the nand. But the Nand was on my ext. SD, it moved that to the new phone, rooted and installed the same version of CWM, and had no luck.
