Root mik and battery issue

Yeah I don't see it happening. Lithid was actively developing it for a while before he bailed to IOS.

I just wish he wouldve released his .95 kernel before he did so.
 
I would if I had any idea what I was doing!!

I have enough problems figuring out themeing, I'd be lost with kernels.

Really disappointed we don't have any other kernel devs. :(
 
Yeah it's kind of weird that there are so many people who develop ROMs but no active kernel guys right now. Obviously I know nothing about either, but kernels must be a lot harder to dev for.
 
once finals get over with I will start looking into trying out different kernals or maybe just switch roms who knows
 
I should probably start a new thread since it has been a few days but I'll put this here first. I think I've given the ROM enough time to break in and the battery hasn't improved a bit. Very disappointing. I loved Mik Froyo. Didn't consider leaving/ upgrading until I heard that it still had carrier IQ in it.

So the next step is going with the kernel suggestions but I'm having so many other problems should I really mess with a kernel before I get the other ones ironed out?

ive only really had problems with the battery so maybe a kernal could do the trick. it almost reminds me how bad the battery was when the evo first came out but not quite to the same extent.
