I downloaded mikfroyo 4.3 and it installed everything and rebooted but when i unlock the screen and hit any of the four touch sensitive buttons or the power button the custom splash screen shows up instanly when i press them and it reloads the icons I don't know what to do.Also the only way I can turn it on is by taking out the battery

Something is not working correctly...obvisously. Myn does this with Myns RLS5 very ocassionallly. Maybe wipe and re-install. And if you go thru that trouble, redownload before reinstalling.

i had trouble on saturday getting mikfroyo to instal correctly. it wasn't due to the rom tho. clockwork recovery wasn't wiping data crrectly. i switched to the latest RA and did another full wipe and install and everything is running smooth.

which recovery did you use? did wipe data, cache and dalvik cache?

When I was installing it said it was wiping it even tho I never told it to wipe and what will be deleted if I wipe?I am also using clockwork

So you didn't wipe data? When switching ROMs, you need to wipe cache/dalvik/data. Flashing the ROM (generally) won't do it for you. The message you saw was most likely wiping /system, which it does to overwrite it with what the ROM comes with. A data wipe will wipe out /data, where your apps and settings are stored.

Is there a option in TB that will backup both at the same time and what is it Called?

All of the different mass backup/restore options are under menu->batch. That one, specifically is "Backup all user apps + system data". Be careful blindly restoring all apps and data. Even when switching Sense ROMs (not AOSP or anything) there can be incompatibilities. I got stuck at the splash screen enough times after doing that to give up on that option. I always backup all apps, then selectively restore what I want, then I change all my settings manually. Yes, it takes longer, but it always works. I don't trust titanium backup to restore only what it should.
