Root Mikfroyo=Awesome!

I was originally using Sprint Lovers All In One plus netarchy-toastmod-4.3.2-cfs-nosbc-havs-more and was happy and didn't want to change. But after reading the results that some of you were getting with mikfroyo, I decided to change roms. Boy, I am much happier. As stated it's pretty quick and battery life is very decent. You guys are very helpful. Thanks!!

Kernel: netarchy-toastmod-4.3.2-cfs-nosbc-havs-more
 
I'm using this ROM as well, but I'm still using the stock kernal. I have tried a custom kernal before, but I'm not 100% sure how to tweak it via SetCPU, i.e. whether to keep it on OnDemand, Performance, Conservative, etc. How do you have your settings set-up?

I have to say 4.5 for me is a little laggy. I liked his 4.4 better. I may be working on a bad install or something but my battery life sucks and it just isn't very "mik" like overall. Now, his Mik Z is pretty stellar. There are a couple of known issues that but I have never seen a faster ROM. Anyway, I might try Kings Z just out of curiosity. But I would agree, Mik does great work!!!

I totally agree with you there. I was using the 4.4 which is probably the best froyo rom out there. When I upgraded to 4.5 it was a bit laggy and the battery life wasn't as great as before. I switched it back to 4.4 and when combined with Launcher pro, it's just amazing. Currently I am on Cyanogen 7 mod and I am very happy with it but I have Mikfroyo 4.4 as my backup just in case I need to go back to it.
