I convinced myself of the need for a different phone after 4 or 5 of VZW's "You can upgrade now!" postcards. Started by going to the store and deciding the smartphones were a little too much and too pricey, so I got an LG Versa. Liked it fine and used it for about a week while continuing to bone up on Android. Justified additional costs well enough to commit to changing again. Went back and forth between Moto Droid & Eris, then N1 was introduced. Decided I liked Eris' features most overall, got it, haven't been disappointed yet.
Itching for 2.1 to get better Navigation & hopefully better voice recognition.
