Help milestone flash memory break down?

i have trouble with my milestone.i cant connect my phone with computer.when i turn on phone on screen says just bootloader 90.73 and some system checks and thats that.hard reset dosnt work.friend of mine says that phones flash memory is probably dead.can anyone help me with my problem?if flash memory is dead can anyone tell me where i can buy that part,am from serbia and we dont have motorola service here...

Go into Bootloader by pressing the up button on d-pad along with the power button and then try flashing the phone.

P.S. You friend does not have a clue and do not listen to him.
 
Dont know what else to suggest. So you have left it plugged in for a while? Have you tried different batteries? I have never seen that white light blink fast ever.
 
i didnt see it ider,i dont know whwt do do,but when i connect phone to computer white light is normal,but computer dosnt see the phone

Connect it to the computer and let it charge for some time. Then install Motorola USB drivers for Milestone and boot the phone into bootloader.
Open RSDLite and flash the phone.

Bingo! You, sir, are the only one on the entire World Wide Webz that seems to have the exact same problem as I have. Therefore: *Bump*.

I managed to get in this situation by running the command
#rm -rf /
As it was read-only anyway. However, I forgot that my other partitions where all still mounted... and gone. I stopped the command after a few seconds but it was bricked.

Now when I connect my phone to the charger the charging LED blinks fast, almost 10Hz, and it stops after half a minute or so. The device does not respond to the power button and is not (at all) recognised by my PC so I can't think of a way to fix it.

If anyone has an idea, I'd be gratefull. But for now, this post is probably usefull only to let you know there is not one but two people on the planet with this flashy type of brick. (Or "~Stone" if you will.)
