Root Milestone JIT. Speedboost +20%

[chyau.00]

[HOWTO] enable jit on the milestone, speedup 20%

Has anyone tried this? any results? comments?

[hellbringer82]

I have seen some mixed result's in the treads here, apparently it should make a difference on 2.0 and 2.0.1 but 2.1 apparently already has JIT enabled by default. (it got slower when he enabled JIT)
Can't find the post tho....

tried Motorola Milestone Australia How To
on my 2.1-update1 (eu) milestone.

there seems no significant differences after activation.
I'll leave it few days to see what happens ...

yep, actually not only 20%, my linpack score before jit was ~8.100mflops and after jit i got 13mflops
55% increase
