Mini App tray

Can the apps that appear in the mini app tray be edited, add other ones?

Ive been able to slide 2 of them out but can I add other ones instead?

Right now, the only mini-apps that are available are the Samsung ones. I don't know if it is a proprietary thing or not (the mini-app thing is, but I don't know if the creation of new mini-apps are proprietary). But a mini-app is a unique thing to the Galaxy Tab 2, so it would have to be developed as a mini-app.
