Mini-USB Charger

Well I know that any mini-USB will charge the device but I just want to make sure that if I switch my charging cable to a different, longer mini-USB chord that it won't fry my battery if left on charge overnight.

mini usb is the connector (i think thats what he meant) not referring to protocol

The 1.1/2.0 thing isn't really going to impact the charging.

Two of the pins on one side of the mini-usb tab inside the connector are for + and - direct current.

It's pretty universal.
