Mint.com app is here :)

I've read about people complaining about the limitations of the app. I don't see any. I can change categories of transactions and everything!

When will Mint realise they are missing out on millions of potential revenue generating customers by restricting themselves to the US market. It would be so easy for them to open their doors to UK and Canada users even if they don't implement the bank links straight away they could still use the service manually.

Still seems US only.

Closest I found was Daily Mint Girls.

COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!

Different indeed but definitely mint.

I don't think its just as easy to knock on a bank's door and say "Hi we'd like you to be part of us!"

It probably has more to do with all those crazy privacy laws that don't necessarily play nice outside of the US.

If this app comes to Canada though, I'm hopping on the bandwagon with this. I have absolutely terrible money management and could seriously use this app. My pocket lint prefers to stay in my pockets after all....

I'd guess it's quite difficult to set this up outside the US - there'll be a hellish network of national and international laws to sort through for a start. Shame, I'd like to use it if it covered UK banks.

Daily Mint Girls will have to do instead. Oh well ;)

The point I'm making guys is it's possible to use Mint without the bank links in place. If they would just add Locales for the English speaking countries and get rid of the US postcode requirement it would enable others to use it for budgeting. It would also give Mint an idea of how many users are using the service in particular countries so they would know which international banks they should be targeting.
