Help Minutes checker

Anyone else not able to get the minutes checker app for virgin mobile to work on this phone. I just keep getting an error saying to make sure i have a data connection.

Hello jimg. Sometimes (quite often, actually) removing and reinserting the sim card will wash out that issue (along with other reported issues we see around the forums). Once it's out, leave it out for a minute or so then reinsert it.

This is a result of Virgin Mobile undergoing a "system upgrade" (unreleated to Sprint's Network Vision).. some people have not been able to log into their Virgin Mobile accounts on the website either during this time while others can.

Once the upgrade is complete system wide, I would assume the app developer needs to do an update to coincide with the new API for his app to work with the new system. I could be wrong though.
 
I like that Virgin Mobile Minutes also shows data used on the widget, though i wouldn't mind if the color coding were an option I could turn off.
 
Uhm....I have one. Unless you mean you dont get one with the phone.

No CDMA phone uses a sim card unless it's a world phone, Virgin has never sold one therefore no Virgin Mobile USA phone has a sim. If you're on Virgin Canada they use the Rogers network which is GSM and do require sim cards.
