Root Miracast and simplicity rom.

Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking of buying a miracast receiver for streaming video to my TV. I don't want to waste the money if it's not going to work.

I can at least confirm it works with my xbox

I use the measy dongle with ezcast from play store and it works fine. When using the miracast screen mirror the top and bottom are cut out a little.

Just buy a android TV stick and stream everything to it or a dlna blue ray player
