mirror dhd to tv or any screen

Sorry if already coverd i have searched "mirror" "desire hd" with no results or too many
So is it possable or could it be added in future updates that we could use our dhd for demos on projectors or bigger screens via cable or bluetooth or wifi.
Im just getting a car with a 7in screen in the dash its hooked up to a dvd carputer id like to veiw my phone as is on tjis screen, ie see google maps navigation on the bigger screen and have the sound thru my car speakers etc
Any answers?

It can be done over DLNA or it might be possible with a cable using a custom ROM.

Possible with DLNA and you can get a media link adaptor from HTC however as far as doing it via the usb socket I've had it on good advice that its impossible.
