Help Missed Call/Message Notification

Does anyone know of an app that let's you know when you've missed a call or text, while the phone is charging? My led blinks when off the charger, but does not while on it. It only shows red when it's charging, and green when the battery is full.
I'd like something that would either override the led, or wake the screen to show a missed call or message.

I've had great success, and still use it, is Missed Call Reminder:

It will keep repeating for missed calls, texts etc

When I'm at home, my phone stays plugged in 99% of the time. I would like something that would tell me just at a glance if I've had a call or message.

Haven't used this app, but it's worth a try.

In the description, it says HTC phones usually require root, so I'm not sure if it will work if you are not rooted. :)

Thanks, I'll give them the a great, but I see am not rooted. It may or may not work. But the fact not, nothing lost.
