Help Missed Message Apps - can't get one to work?

I've tried many but can't get any to work? Just need one to remind me of missed calls, unread texts/whatsapp messages and calender reminders. Any app suggestion and/or phone and apps settings greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Just deleted another one, I must be doing something wrong. Maybe its a setting on my T, it can't be that all the apps are not working. I'm not a complete novice but if theres any advice you can give re setting (I've swithced of battery saving) i'd be very grateful. Thanks.

I've looked in Settings-Accessibility but can see no selection that seems relevant to help the app? Any suggestions? Thanks again for your help.

No problem! :)

Settings -> Accessibility -> Services section -> App Name.

You need to turn that on for the specific app to read & display notifications properly.

Say I need lightflow to handle notifications or reminders etc, I'd go

Settings -> Accessibility -> Services section -> Lightflow -> On.

Does that make sense?

Very clear thanks but some of the apps do not appear in the accessibility folder, but they still don't work. Missed Message Flasher seems to fit the bill and appears in the Accessibility folder, only problem is that I get a warning that it collects just about everything I type except passwords, am I right to be concerned about this?

Funnily enough I've just updated today to 4.1.2. The program thats warning me of this app is Cleanmaster. I really appreciate the interest your showing, thanks again.
