missed text reminder?

You know howw some phones have an incoming text sound, and you can have it keep beeping every minute or so until you open it. Does the HTC incredible have an app like that?

You can set up repeating alerts in Handcent. It's an awesome SMS/MMS replacement app. It's very customizable. Just be sure to disable notifications in the stock messaging app so you don't get duplicate notifications.

If you want to keep using the stock messaging app and don't want a replacement, you can try an app called EasyReminder. I use it for repeating alerts for missed calls but it also supports SMS/MMS.

I like to use Missed Text Reminder -- I know it is available on Android Market. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.murryelectronics.missedreminder

It is a options to customize the reminder to be as frequent as you want (one minute, 10 minutes, etc) and you can also tell it to stop reminding you after an hour or whatever you want.
