Missed the end of the world...

This ariticle tells us we already missed the end of the world because the Mayan calendar does not take into consideration leap years. Oh well. It looks like I have to continue to live with you guys.

I actually found and read this a while ago... Not sure why I didn't pass it along.

This whole "predicting when the world will end" is like putting God into the test... something my religion tells me you should never do. (christian)

I'm a Christian too, but this is Mayan, not Christian.

so does that mean the zombie apocalypse is off???

Maybe, maybe not.

I know, but I was referring to Christians believing in this stuff

(not accusing you or anyone of anything btw...)

I don't put much stock in this stuff. The nonsense that a few Christians were putting stock was the Harold Camping debacle.

Couldn't it be they also forsaw the creating of leap year and took that into account?

The mind boggles.

What, the world is not gonna end? And i've given away all my money and other worldly possessions to strangers.

With predictions, premonitions, fortune cookies, rumors and miracles if enough people believe in them they have a habit of coming true.
