Help Missing address bar

Hope you can help, l own an ACER A500. I have two problems, first one is
setting GOOGLE CHROME as my default browser.
The second problem is l cannot find the address bar in any browser.

Google Chrome is not available for any android system yet. If your referring to androids default browser then you want to go to your settings and under applications look for the other browser that you have installed and clear the cache and stuff. That should solve it.

The address bar is located at the very top of the browser. I would suggest opening up the browser and go into settings and select advanced> restore to default.

Neil, if you are missing the address bar you might have the quick controls enabled. If you touch the left or right edge of the screen do you get a blue wheel/ if so the address bar is accessed by touching the globle in the middle of the wheel. if you want to disable the quick controls select the settings (4 horz lines) and select settings >> labs and unselect quick controls.

I seem to prefer the stock browser...though I did play around with a couple of other browsers - including Dolphin, which I have kept on my tab...the others I uninstalled. I do wish though that Chrome was available for Android. I wonder why it is not.
