Help Missing Android ID on a Archos 101

Hi everybody.
Apologies in advance id this thread has been posted, already. I surfed quite a lot on the threads but did not find it.
After installation of Racing Live and World War from the Market onto my Archos 101 (and after having deleted the cache on the Android Market App, rebooted, etc, etc, ..), when I launch bot games, I get "Failure to Connect - Device is missing Android ID".
Can anyone help ?
At the same time, I read on some sites that a lot of users have "ID's". Hos do I set my self. I have a Gmail account, is this related ? If it is, where can I find my Android ID and how to set it up in the Archos 101 ?
Many (many) thanks in advance.

I had this same problem on my archos 70. I downloaded android id changer and found that archos does not populate android_id, at least in froyo 2.2. Not sure how to get root access on the archos to try populating the id.

Doesn't z4root give root access until reboot? If the ID changer holds it's new ID through reboot...you wouldn't need root access more than once. If it doesn't...it seems like too much trouble to me to bother with.

Haven't followed the progress, so I could be wrong.
