missing apps

[chrismoeller]

Hallo,
we use an an Motorola XOOM an can not open some files appended to incoming mails: docx, pptx, zip and eps. Which apps do we need and where can we find it to open these filetypes.
Regards for any answer.

Welcome to the forums!

Take a look in the Xoom subforum, they may be able to recommend some good apps for your device: Motorola XOOM - Android Forums

I have Documents to Go installed (the free version) which lets me view stuff. As does Google Docs. Not sure if either of those are any use?

Welcome to the AndroidForums, Chris!

+1 to El Presidente's excellent reply. Never heard of .pptx (open-source PowerPoint perhaps?) and .eps, but .docx should be handled by Google Docs or the Documents to Go (I believe).

A .zip file extension should be handled by pretty much any file manager, of which there are several free ones (they have paid counterparts, too): Astro File Manager (my personal favorite), ES File Explorer, OI File Manager, etc.

Good luck and again, welcome!
