Help Missing Apps

Hello all,

I received my Samsung Note last week and absolutely love the phone. I've been watching related videos on YouTube and some of them show people using apps like the video and photo editor, but I don't see them on my phone, nor do I see them on Google Play.

Does anyone know if there is something I need to do or how I could download these apps?

I'm on Gingerbread 2.3.6.

I tried using KIES and it says I have the current installation, so I assume ICS will be coming out soon?

Do you know what region your Note came from? Where are you situated and where did you get your Note from? The ICS roll out is still underway.

I think that means you have the i717 version of the Note (LTE), which is in many ways a very different device to the N7000. There is a separate forum for i717 LTE discussions.

My bad, I only saw the forum named 'Samsung Galaxy Note' and figured this was the correct one.
