Help Missing apps

So I went to open an app that I know I have installed but it doesn't appear in the app drawer nor does it appear on the home screen. It is only able to be opened through the "Open" button on the Play Store page for it

Are you using a custom launcher and have the app set to hidden?

No, I'm stock and I'm pretty sure the app isn't set to be hidden

EDIT: I uninstalled it through the Play Store and reinstalled it. It still doesn't show up so I'm thinking it might be an issue with the app itself

EDIT: It only shows an icon on the home screen but not in the app drawer

I've this issue with the installed app Play Books, it's not in the app drawer but it's to find in Settings, Apps, All ...
ES File Explorer's app manager shows it too ... and is able to create shortcuts of such hidden apps on the home screen.
