Help Missing button on keyboard...

[Superflash]

I have somehow managed to change the layout of my keyboard to include a 'smiley face maker' where the enter button should be:

How do I change this back to the enter button. It has been driving me insane

I think it just does that in the texting app.

There is no enter button in the SMS app

[Superflash]

So there is no way to make a new paragraph in a text then?

[Jay3]

Try a different app. Handcent is a whole lot better for SMS. It has a return key.

It's the way the OS is designed for the Messaging app. The only way around it is to use a third party messaging app such as GoSMS or Handcent OR to use a keyboard such as SwiftKeyX.

Just my thoughts but here goes:
1) Even if there was an enter key in the messaging app, I bet it would be programmed to send vice break.

2) If you need a new paragraph send an email or use the phone function.

Just my thoughts but here goes.

My two thoughts were:

1. I see it when I long press the smiley key, then I realized I have Swiftkey X. B-)

2. It has never occurred to me to insert a paragraph inside of 140 SMS character message.
