Yea, it's a really popular, steep, windy street over here. I'm not sure where a phone would be hidden there though. It's just houses. I wouldn't want to snoop through somebody's garden. Haha

maybe it's there, at least we know it's somewhere in the proximity of Lombard! or at least I think it is, since they dropped it's name. That cell place i googled is a vzw authorized dealer.

I went through most of Lombard St using Google Street View and it looks like the highest altitude is around George Sterling Memorial, which from the satelite view looks like basketball and tennis courts Also the entrance appears to be on Hyde or Greenwich St...

However, it is right by the twisty part of Lombard.

Another thought I had: These phones are 'missing', so maybe if you went to the lost&found of some place (like the Hard Rock for #12) it'd be in there? Seems like it'd be too easy for an employee to keep it that way, but I don't think they'd just leave it out in the elements.

The Verizon store is at the corner of Pierce and Lombard - Northwest corner - not much to see around here though, based upon google maps street level view
