"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

I think with all the pissing and moaning going on around here they just said screw it and are trying to give them out as fast as possible now. With everyone being so ungrateful why should they give us 30 mins from clue to GPS if they dont have to?

I agree, but it's like they changed the rules mid giveaway. I do hope woot or the other guy gets it though, but you know that won't happen, lol...someone is there for some reason and someone just called them and said hey go to ... and hurry!

This is soooooo lame now. They are just retweeting , tweeting coordinates right after clues. Dumb. They should have never gave out coordinates, just the clues, and let people try to find the things.

nice heads up on #3! i am nowhere near that and am pissed as hell!!!!! no chance unless u live right there. of all place, they pick the mission!?!?

Come on guys ... You realize there are ~1000 people per phone following DroidLanding? Not counting people who just check the page without following? I'm just surprised the NY one took so long to find.

with the whole GPS debacle in DC they probably wont take a chance on someone finding it before the coordinates go out again. Thats why they are giving out the GPS right after the clue now. You all have nobody to blame but yourselves. All the bitching about the one in DC being found before the coordinates made them start doing this now...

guys you gotta remember, who many people are commenting here compared to the more than 20000 people following droidlanding

I hear you, #3 has had the least amount of warning of any of them.. Everyone else has had anywhere from a few hours to DAYS to at least get closer.

By the way, anyway to ignore posters on here? I'm sick of some folks and their holier than thou attitude..

Man, that sucks that they're moving the coordinate tweets so close to the final hint tweets. I still think 17 might be in Detroit, and I live on the edge of the city. I was counting on that half an hour or so to haul ass to the location. Now it looks like I'm gonna have to camp out in the city at the spot I think is most likely... and it's possibly (read: probably) not even in Detroit.

I really wish they'd release another clue for 17 to narrow down exactly what city it's in.

I do have to say I like this alittle better cause if you notice it's about the 15 minute since the cord and still no tweet. Will help will all the people camping out at the locations all day till it's tweeted. This does give more people a chance at it than the few who sit there all day. Take it as them trying to give you a chance wether you think it does or not

Yea that makes a lot of sense actually...

No kidding. I'm by NB and didn't even bother heading down there - it would have taken me 20 minutes at least.
I was definitely hoping it would actually be on Lombard or something closer to my place..wasn't expecting it to be down in the Mission.
