Help Missing Facebook Contacts

So I have a Virgin Mobile HTC Legend. My Contact list is synced with my Facebook, but for some reason, only 502 out of 506 of my friends show up on my phone. I've tried deleting the Facebook account and then re-logging in. The people show up fine in the Facebook app under friends, but when you view Facebook contact through People, 4 are missing.

Any ideas?
 
Have you got your contacts set to only show contacts with phone numbers? if so do these contacts have phone numbers against them on facebook?
 
I am having this same problem, though only one of my FB friends is affected by this...makes it extra annoying. Anyone out there with a resolution? Btw, using a Dinc, if that makes a difference...
 
I'm having the same problem with 2 of my 300 or so contacts. Could it be something to do with these peoples FB privacy settings?
 
my FB friend list is updated, but when I try to link a contact with FB user the list is empty... some days ago it worked.

I've tried to uninstall last "Facebook for Android" update, but the issue is still open... strange strange strange

FIXED!!!!

Go to menu --> Settings --> Accounts & Sync
under manage accounts remove facebook entry

go to phone homescreen

go to peope --> Online directory
and re-create facebook account

List will be refreshed and links will work again!!!
 
every task have to be done on mobile phone

desktop is the homescreen... sorry my win-dialet :)

if you haven't facebook online directory you should install FACEBOOK for HTC Sense
 
Same problem on my wife's Wildfire. Four contacts not showing up in the HTC Sense Facebook app. Been searching for a solution for hours - no joy as yet...:mad:
 
I am having the same problem, there are 4 people who are in my Gmail contact list, have email addresses & phone #s, are synching to my phone Contacts via my Google account, also are in my Facebook friends, and are NOT showing up in my phone Contacts as also having a Facebook profile. I am using the "integrated accounts" Facebook synch option, I have tried re-synching, I have tried deleted the account and re-creating it, I installed the Android Facebook app and set up an account to synch through that, nothing works. It is the same 4 people, no matter what I do. As far as I can tell there does not seem to be anything distinctive about these 4 records, does anyone have any ideas?
 
I'm having the same problem with my HTC desire, missing one Facebook contact. Interestingly, the same contact is missing in the Facebook contact list in the Tweetdeck Android app. So maybe the problem lies with Facebook.
 
Anybody found a solution for this?
I have exactly thesame on my wildfire, missing 5 of my facebook contacts. They do show up in the Facebook for Android App, but those I cannot sync with my phone and gmail contacts. The Facebook for HTC Sence/Friendstream doesnt show the 5 contacts.
Tried it all: removing facebook account& adding: still missing, cleared cache and so on...

Hope if you found a solution you can post it here?

There is nothing wrong, just your friends privacy settings in Facebook blocking you. I have 3 people missing from my contacts. If you look at the privacy settings in Facebook, you can edit "Information accessible through your friends". They have unticked all options in there.
