Missing icon pictures

When app is moved to SD (or media area), why does the picture on the icon disappear? Is there a solution?

How are you moving the app? The icon should display even if the app is on the sd card, unless the sd card is unmounted while the phone is on.

Using app 2 sd pro, the apps run but the icon is just a blue default icon for all apps that are on the card or in the media area. If I move it back to the phone, the icon reappears.

try moving the app to sd and then adding the icon back.

Try this ... move the app back to the phone, then go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications (if you are on Gingerbread) and select the app you want to move. You should see a "move to sd" button and see if that retains the logos on screen.

That is essentially what I have been doing, as using the "app to sd pro" app just takes me directly to the same screen as you led me to. So I don't think I am moving the apps any differently.

Is this the behavior you are asking about?
