i have a Motorola droid turbo phone. i noticed that i dont have the default based internet browser icon anymore for it. i have installed dolphin, chrome and firefox so why is my built in browser now gone. I cant find the icon or any part of it in folders either. i also have this same issue on my SS galaxy tablet 4 as well.

Did you delete if not just make the app a default it maybe found in the disable section of the manage app section

the app is no where to be found... my thinking is that i was uninstalled why would it uninstall if i install a new browser thats dumb logic. i cant locate in My files folder, its not in application manager. i just want to use the main default browser that came with the phone and tablet just to make sure its there and installed. not removed.

Have you recently updated to KitKat or Lollipop? If so, it removes the AOSP browser ("globe" icon) in favor of Chrome, which is now the only built-in Android browser.
