I tried to install the Nexus S live wallpaper using the apk method and followed the instructions and it didn't works so I tried the zip method. Neither worked and when I go to Menu>Wallpaper the Live Wallpaper is not even listed as an option. I backed up the original livewallpapers.apk but i think i may have deleted it somehow now. there is a livewallpapers.apk listed sdcard/system/app. After all this I would like to just get back to the way it was.

here is the url for what i was trying to do.....Download: Nexus S Gingerbread Live Wallpaper - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

CyanogenMod-6.1.1-Droid

Thanks

if you backed up livewallpapers.apk do you have livewallpapers.apk.bak or did you copy and paste livewallpapers.apk onto your SD card?

BTW, there is no such thing as sdcard/system/app - but there is /system/app

well your post is confusing as you say..

I backed up the original livewallpapers.apk but i think i may have deleted it somehow now. there is a livewallpapers.apk listed system/app.

so do you have it or deleted it?

I copy and pasted it to another spot on my sdcard but i can't tell if that is the copy of the original or the one I downloaded and tried to install (they have the same name (livewallpapers.apk).

there is a livewallpapers.apk listed under system/app because that is the one i tried to install

after looking and looking I believe I still have the original one. It has a timestamp of: 01 Aug 2008
