Missing Messaging app?

[GZ2525]

I changed the extension of the appMMS so the Messaging app wouldn't show up after I rooted my phone, but I did it before I reinstalled Handcent.

Now Handcent is now set as the default and when I receive messages they do not show up in handcent, only the messages I send do.

I tried renaming the application back to the original extension, but it still isn't showing.

Any ideas of how to get Messaging app back or to fix this?

Thanks
