Help Missing pictures and Lookout problem

I have 31 pictures that are no longer accessible. Of course, they're all Halloween pictures of my kids. They WERE there. I've looked at them, been able to see them. Now, all of a sudden, they're grey boxes with a picture symbol and exclamation point. On my computer, they show up as a red X.

I thought I might be in luck since I back everything up with Lookout. Well, apparently Lookout is NOT doing it's job. I've never checked up on it before, and tonight when I log in, although the option to back up pictures is checked, it DOES NOT BACK UP PICTURES! None of my pictures have ever been backed up with Lookout. WTF?

Does anyone have any idea what's causing this? Is it a bad SD card? Inc problem? :confused::confused:
 
Also, it says my data was last backed up two weeks ago, which is strange.

I went ahead and backed everything up and reformatted my memory card. I guess I'll have to start doing a manual backup.
 
Halloween pictures, when were they taken? If it's since Friday at 3am Lookout wouldn't be backing them up until this coming Friday.

However, that doesn't account for the fact that none of your pictures have been backed up. I honestly don't know what to say about that.

Photobucket is a good app for saving pictures, btw.
 
sometimes the backups will fail if you arent in a good signal area or whatever. I know mine do at work sometimes. but all my pics are there when i went online

I wonder if it has anything to do with folder structure on my SD card. It shouldn't, though, I wouldn't think.

Thanks for the PB reminder. I went ahead and set up the automatic upload. This should save me some grief in the future. :D
