Root MIUI apps in other ROMs?

Okay, Sense stuff doesn't work without Sense, but what about MIUI apps?
MIUI is an AOSP ROM isn't it? So would it work if I extracted some apps from the MIUI ROM and put them in, say, a Desire HD ROM?

No you cant do that. MIUI apps is exclusive to MIUI rom for now but that might change in the future. Rumour is MIUI weather could be made available as a paid app soon.

Yes. Despite the other 2 comments the only one i have found that does work is the music player

I am running SSGB 5.00 and its works great. I am trying to get the file manager working.

An apk is an apk (an app), and if you know what your doing they'll run. That's way beyond me though.
