Root MIUI battery probelm?

Droid X 2.3.7 running MIUI ROM, QuickClock 1.7.0.5 installed and set to "Battery Saver" @ 900max. Battery died, have had plugged into laptop for 3+ hours, ON with minimal use (casual texting), and my battery is only 16% charged. Any ideas?

Yes, I'm overclocked..
 
Try under-clocking it a bit more that might use less battery power and sorry I recommended an app you already have. lol I'm sorry for that. Also, make sure your closing any tasks in the background and I don't recommend a task killer, because those use more juice making sure the apps are killed then when there just running. And your not charging the battery too often are you?
 
Try plugging it into a real charger. Laptop can only put out 1/2 amp, where your stock charger is closer to 1 amp. If you let it idle, you'd charge faster too. :D
 
make sure your refresh is set reasonably for emails, etc. that can kill power as well.
 
Un/reinstalled QuickClock, froze a couple stock apps via Liberty ROM Manager PRO, seems to be doing considerably better.
