MIUI custom ROM (installing guide)

So I've been searching trough the forum and I haven't found a thread which describes just that custom ROM called MIUI (correct me if I'm wrong). Anyway. It is a great looking ROM, really easy to use and set up. If you want a videotour of the rom and the pictures, click on the link in my signature!

The very first thing you need to do is to root your device. You can read how to do that in you click the link in my signature.

Then go to MIUI and download the MIUI for your device. Go to CWM and download the recovery too.

Copy both files to your phones SD card and remember where you put the MIUI (it is best that you make a separate folder).

Download MobileUncleTools, open it and select RECOVERY UPDATE. Tap on the recovery_cwm and the phone will boot into recovery.

Once in the recovery (you move up/down with vol +/- and select things with power/lock button). Select wipe cache partition and wipe data / factory reset. The go into advanced and run Wipe Dalvik Cache.

Install custom ROM by clicking on install from SD card, and just choose the folder and then the file in which the zip file is located. The phone will reboot and the custom rom will be installed.

Hope this will halp you :)

What makes MIUI ROM unique/different from others? PA, AOKP, CM, and Omni, largely?

It makes the entire theme of the OS different. You don't have the menu button, it acts a bit like the iOS and overall it doesn't look anything like stock android, That is what I like about it.
