I'm using MIUI, but I can't comment on 4g, as I've never tried it. Also, I don't think I've tried the video camera yet. Sorry, not something I use often.
Battery life is fine I'd say. I'm however, using SetCPU and I am turning off 2g/3g data when I don't need it (it kills my battery, because I have such lousy coverage). But with all these things my batter can go and go. In fact, today I was in the car for about an hour, music going the whole time and did a lot of 3g data (wasn't driving this time lol) and my battery went down 2%.
I'd say it probably depends a lot on your usage and kernel, I forget which version of Tiamat I'm running...
