Root Miui endless boot after a month no problem.

Hey all,

Woke up with morning to find my triumph just trying to boot up.. I have the Miui final by uhh.... cant remember his name, but its the more popular one.

I tried pulling the battery out and starting it up again but no dice, holding power button is unresponsive as well... just wondering what i should try before just flashing the rom, or a different, or even the nandroid backup.

Can you boot into Recovery?

Hm.. Maybe try booting from clock work? If not it seems you might have to reflash the rom.

if you used a mui theme that had a custom boot animation that could have gave you the boot loop too

You don't have to reflash.
Reboot your phone then when it is boot looping, plug your charger in and it will take you to the lockscreen. (This works for some odd reason)
Then just turn off your custom boot logo in settings & put in the original boot logo.
