Root MIUI endless boot

So after my battery died while I was at school, I charged it and turned it on. Now once it loads to the lockscreen it goes to a black screen and just keeps rebooting. It will do this indefinitely.

Make a Nandroid backup, wipe /system and /data, and then reflash MIUI. Once it's up and running again just restore /data from the backup and you should be fine; if it bootloops after you restore /data, you'll know something's wrong there and you can wipe it again.

:[ I restored data and it broke again. What should I try next?

Edit: I think it might be a problem with the hotspot. I was messing around with it a few days ago and made the SSID to a bunch of invalid characters which made it error every time it tried to start the hotspot. Since it only lets you edit the SSID while the hotspot is running I couldn't change it back. That's the only reason I can think of it randomly dieing on me.

I fixed it, I'll edit in how I did it when I have more time.

EDIT: So I guess it's not fixed anymore. When I went to go turn wifi on it crashed and now it just does what it was doing before because it keeps trying to turn wifi on after it boots.

Well I managed to get into the phone again by deleting the WiFi settings in data/misc through ADB. Now WiFi isn't working at all so Im going to make a MIUI backup of everything but WiFi settings and then reflash the ROM. If that doesn't work I have no idea.

EDIT: All is good! I ended up rebooting my phone before I did the restore and the WiFi works now. :D
