Root Miui loves and woes

I was wondering if the more experienced of you could point me in the right direction to address my Miui problems.

First, I love this ROM! It works really well and it looks just fantastic. The themes are beautiful and excellent and make the phone a pleasure to use. However I have a few problems that I would really like to work out.

Number one, the camera is not as full featured and is rather buggy compared to the Sense version. Is there a way to replace it with a better camera?

Number two, the gallery is not nearly as nice as the one I remember from Froyo. Are there some gallery choices out there?

Number three, NO APP DRAWER. This is just bizarre to me and makes finding and organizing apps a nightmare. I'm using LauncherPro but I would prefer to use the straight Miui launcher with an app drawer of some kind, one that allows arranging apps alphabetically.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I used Miui for a while but I too could not get used to not having an app drawer. I eventually switched to CM7. As far as I could find, there really is no way around the app drawer question.

There are third part camera apps in the market you could try. This will not replace the Miui camera but give you a second camera app to use. The same with your gallery question. Aside from finding a gallery app in the market I can't think of any other option.

Hey, I can't be of much help. But i wanted to agree with you on the app drawer. I have all the apps I downladed on every screen is kind of crazy, other than that this is a great rom.

To get an app drawer, I think you can install ADW Launcher or Launcher Pro.

For a better gallery app, Quick Pic is a good one.

Just an update; I have settled in with Miui without a launcher and I'm happy as a clam. I have divided up my apps into various folders arranged on one screen, leaving the most important and/or used ones on the home screens. This works great!

One advantage to Miui is that since there is no zooming in and out of an app drawer, the whole experience is extremely smooth and stable. I love this ROM!

Any ideas when there might be an ICS/Miui for Dinc2? :D
